Now You See Me (12A)

Star Rating: 4 Stars

Have you ever wondered how a rabbit is pulled out of an empty hat? How the card you picked miraculously turns up behind your ear? Or even how someone could rob a bank without even being in the same room as the money? There is one simple answer… MAGIC! ‘Now You See Me’ brings a thrilling twist to the magic tricks you grew up with reveals the secrets behind enchantment. With a lot of wit, a clever plot, suspense, humour, twists and of course magic, this film is a definite summer watch!

Yet another all star cast who once again blow our minds with their fabulous talent; Jesse Eisenberg (plays J. Daniel  Atlas), Woody Harrelson (plays Merritt McKinney), Isla Fisher (plays Henley Reeves), Dave Franco (plays Jack Wilder), Morgan Freeman (plays Thaddeus Bradley), Micheal Caine (plays Arther Tressler) and many more brilliant names you will recognise. Working their way up from being street artists to becoming one of the most sought after Vegas acts, the Four Horsemen, as they like to call themselves; Eisenberg, Harrelson, Fisher and Franco, undertake their biggest trick which leads them to some major consequences; but nothing the Four Horsemen can’t wiggle their way out of… Or so they think.

Although ‘Now You See Me’ was less of a magical film and more of an action thriller, I still actually enjoyed it. It is one of those films that you have to go back a second time to pick out those minor details that all amount up to the films final trick. This is a must see film! So go on… Go see it!

Now you see me… Now you don’t!
