Decpicable Me 2 (U)

OMG, this film was totes amaze-balls!! I absolutely loved the first Despicable Me and though it had left such a good reputation that nothing could be better… How wrong I was! This film is called Despicable Me 2 for many reasons; mostly because it is the second film, but also because it had twice the amount of fun, twice the amount of laughs, and twice the amount of mischief!!!

After undertaking the task of single, but loving parent, Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) puts his villainous career to the side. But when an offer arises from the Anti-Villain League to capture a powerful super villain, Gru has no choice but get out his most deadly weapon once again… The Fart Gun!!! With help from his trusted minion – who are once again the stars of the show and who touch our hearts and our funny bones, there is nothing stopping Gru; until a beautiful, if slightly deranged side kick (voiced by Kristen Wiig) is sent to watch over him, Gru has more to think about than catching a mad villain! With all the lovable voices once again; including Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Miranda Cosgrove (School Of Rock), Russell Brand (Hop), Steve Coogan (Around the World in 80 Days) and Benjamin Bratt (Miss Congeniality) this film will have your sides splitting.

When I went to see this film, I struggled to find a seat because the screening was so full up! Containing humour for both the children and the adults to enjoy, this is a hit film for everyone! Trust me, I’m 15 years old, wanted to go and see World War Z but saw Despicable Me instead… So very glad I chose the later!! Go and see this film… If you don’t I will boil you in a vat of jam and throw you to the man eating sharks!!! Sorry, my super-villain side must have come out then! But seriously, go and watch this film!!!
