Friends with Benefits is an American rom-com film directed by Will Gluck, starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake.

Justin Timberlake has gone from the top of the charts to a box office hit as he stars in this romantic comedy starring alongside Mila Kunis. Mila Kunis won an award for Best Young Actress at the 67th Venice International Film Festival last year for her performance as Lily in the 2010 film Black Swan.

Jamie (Mila Kunis) is an Executive Recruiter for a leading job agency in New York City and Dylan (Justin Timberlake) works as an art director for a small internet company in Los Angeles. Jamie has the task of recruiting Dylan to do an interview for a job with GQ magazine and begin working in New York City. After the interview Jamie offers Dylan the opportunity to work for GQ magazine and move from Los Angeles to New York. After a fun night touring the city with Jamie, Dylan agrees to take the job. Not knowing anyone else in the city he and Jamie quickly develop a friendship.

So the pair agree to have a physical relationship with no emotions or commitment involved in order to get over break-ups. While trying to avoid the clichés of Hollywood romantic comedies, Dylan and Jamie soon discover that adding sex to their friendship does lead to complications.

The question that would be on audiences mind throughout the film would be “Can you have sex without love being involved?”

This film is being shown at the Dorchester Plaza from Sat and Sun the 3rd and 4th September as previews with it’s main run on the release date of 9th September.
